The Middle School athlete

Being a parent of a young athlete is its own journey different from your child's, but also intertwined. As a parent you want someone to talk with, and who can work with your child, who is trustworthy, experienced, and appropriate. I draw from my many years as a school teacher to deliver mindset modules that make learning actionable and fun for all learning styles. Young athletes can benefit from tools that help them manage the array of emotions, anxieties, and social situations that sports evoke. Simple memorable lessons help them learn with confidence and fun. A stronger personal identity, increased self-esteem, and access to joy are some of the benefits of this package.

Includes:

• free 20 min. parent phone consult,

• free 20 min athlete video consult,

initial & ongoing research on the athlete

 • 6 - 30 min video sessions

• downloadable worksheets

• ongoing email/phone communication w/ parent(s).

"Seen, Safe, and Supported"

Parents share:

"Just wanted to let you know that our son has finished his basketball season. Overall, he made huge strides by the end of the year on multiple fronts. His skill set improved dramatically, he gained needed confidence, and, most importantly, his ability to manage the highs and lows in a game improved a huge amount. Thank you for your support here."

"Our daughter loved her sessions with Coach Meg. Whether talking about Squishmallows or multi-day swim meets, Coach Meg helped her feel got. That is, our daughter felt completely seen, safe, and supported. Along the way, Coach Meg was available for our calls and emails. It was also great that they could work together online instead of one more trip out for me. Not surprisingly, our daughter listened to Meg in ways she was done listening to us :-)"
