MINDSET COACH MEG

Meg Waldron Sports Psychology: Mental Skills Training in Philadelphia and Beyond

Because greatness isn’t built on talent alone, I'm here to get you to your max potential.

I make the process of performing and feeling better easier for athletes using effective mindset tools.

I've been there, and I get it.

I have my MS in Sport Psychology and am a Mental Performance Coach. I was a a Division 1 full scholarship athlete, and a high school All-American. I've been a sport coach for over 20 years, and was selected as one of the top 10 female athletes in NJ history.

My Athletic Accomplishments:

  • Fastest high school 800m leg in Penn Relays history up to that point. 2:08.3

  • Set NJ 3000m high school state record that stood for almost 30 years. 9:33

  • Winner 5th Avenue Mile Open Division when I was 17. 4:44

  • High school indoor mile of 4:47

  • I may still hold the 16 y.o. American record for 25k on the roads of 1:33.08

  • Sponsored by Adidas

  • One of the top 10 NJ athletes of the 20th century

  • Coached by the legendary Mark Wetmore

  • Coached Chris Lear to All-American status who went on to write the best-selling, Running with the Buffaloes.

I've successfully helped athletes break through the mental barriers of anxiety, negative self-talk, lost focus, burnout, feelings of hopelessness, injury, and more in:

  • Track & Field/XC/Running

  • Swimming

  • Power Lifting

  • Rowing

  • Pickleball

  • Ballet

  • Gymnastics

  • Volleyball

  • Basketball

  • Football

  • Baseball

  • Lacrosse

  • Field Hockey

  • Soccer

  • Kart Racing

  • Golf

  • Competitive Shooting

  • College Recruiting

  • Exam Prep

I've trained thousands of miles, hiked the highest mountain in Honduras, participated in sweat lodges, and have fasted in ceremony for days to restore my spirit.

Whether I was training for the Olympic trials, nursing an injury, running the Olympic torch down the Pan American highway, or coaching and teaching in the US, I've always wanted to understand what is possible on this human journey for myself and others.

Let's find a way.
